I wrote a book about my life. It sounds so pretentious when said aloud.

But the book isn't my story.

It is His Story.

I wrote the book as a form of therapy. There were so many stories in my head, swirling always, propelling me through life like a pinball. I knew I was crazy. I had to be crazy. I watched people. They all looked normal. They had life figured out. I couldn't make sense of anything. I worked harder, got degrees, and worked even harder. But the swirling never ceased. I tried Behavioral Therapy. I went to several psychologists...just knowing one of them had the answer I needed. Each session looked the same. I sat down and eagerly began telling my stories. When I was done, each one said the same thing.

"You need to write a book."

A couple of the professionals were kind enough to help me realize that I am a survivor. But, always, their answer was "You need to write a book."

So, I wrote a book.

Even more things have happened since then.

Lots more.
